Pastor Ken Baker is the Founder of the New Covenant Evangelistic Christian Center dba New Covenant Family Church. Pastor Baker has been in ministry for over 48 years with spiritual roots that stem from his Pentecostal up bringing at the Faith Temple Church of God In Christ in San Francisco CA, under the leadership of the late, Dr. Floyd W. Cotton- (Affectionately known as "PaPa").
Pastor Baker is a true teacher and exhorter. Prior to founding New Covenant Christian Center in 1995, Pastor Baker served in Men's Ministry at the Glad Tidings Church Of God In Christ of Hayward, CA. and as the Men's Ministry Leader at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, CA.
At the present time Pastor Baker is bi-vocational. He has two earned degrees (i.e. BS & MS) from Stanford University and has represented several Fortune 500 companies around the world.
First Lady, Arzella Baker has Co-Pastored along side her husband since the opening of the New Covenant Evangelistic Christian Center in 1995 . She's been a devoted wife to Pastor Ken Baker for 43 years. In addition to that she is the mother of their 3 children, 2 sons, and 1 daughter. Nicklas, Alex and Alivia. She is also the proud grandmother to Ellis, London , Alex 2nd.and Andreux. To complete the 1st Family she also has two daughter-in-loves Lavonne and Rita.
First Lady, Arzella Baker has a background in children's ministry, women's ministry and the music ministry. She currently serves as the music Pastor. First Lady Arzella's music and children's experience began early in her years under the leadership of her late father who was also a Pastor. She's served at various church's such as Glad Tidings Church of Hayward, CA., as a member of the Praise & Worship Team, in addition to the Children's Ministry Director, Jubilee Christian Center of San Jose, Ca. where she worked closely with Women's ministry leadership and lead as Women's Ministry Praise & Worship leader.
Pastor Arzella is a published song writer with a song currently circulating on the Bishop T.D. Jakes, (Woman Thou Art Loosed 2002) "Bless The Lord With Me" and also on the, Bishop Carlton Pearson, (2000 Praise Jubilee)"Praise the Lord With Me"
First Lady Arzella has always had a heart for Praise & Worship and the understanding of entertaining the presence of God and believes that God has anointed her to speak a clear word of God right into the lives of all people, especially women. One of her deepest desires is, "to teach people about the importance of being a "Christian" Kingdom Builder and understanding their role as a worshipper, entering into the presence of God through Praise & Worship as a lifestyle"
On April 30th, 2022 Pastors Ken & Arzella Baker received their
PhD, Doctor of Divinity (DD) from the Global On-Demand school of Ministry
